The Division 1 championship final will have much of the same look it has in recent past, with Kaukauna and Stoughton advancing to do battle for the third straight season in the championship match.

 The Galloping Ghosts are in pursuit of their fourth straight championship after downing Holmen 47-19 in the semifinals and Hudson 47-13 in the quarterfinals Friday evening at the UW Field House in Madison.

 The Vikings’ return to the championship match to determine if the third time is a charm, having placed runner-up to Kaukauna the last two seasons.

 Stoughton defeated Waterford 40-22 in the quarterfinals and Menomonee Falls 40-21 in the semifinals to set-up another rematch with the Galloping Ghosts.

 In other quarterfinal action Friday, Holmen defeated Slinger 44-17, and Menomonee Falls topped Oak Creek 33-25.

 The finals in all three divisions are scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. The State Team Wrestling Tournament resumes at 10 a.m. with semifinals in Divisions 2 and 3.
