Upon arrival to the game we were greeted by the Athletic Director, Jill Stobber. She showed us to our locker room where we were greeted by a student-athlete who was a representative of the Waterford H.S. Sports Officiating and Coaching Class. We were each given a “goody bag” which contained some snacks, a bottle of water, a thank you card from the officiating class. The class is taught by Ashley Ingush at Waterford H.S.. This was very much appreciated by all three officials. I wanted to not only thank the Waterford H.S. officiating class and their instructor but also want to praise the efforts of the Waterford School District and community for their sportsmanship and appreciation of the officials. In addition, the officiating and sports class will help raise an awareness to our youth of how important coaching and officiating is in the education of our youth. Thank you Waterford H.S. for your support of coaches and officials and helping to make youth sports enjoyable for all.
