Girls State Team Tennis Preview

The 20th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Team Tennis Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-26. The meet takes place at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wis. Action will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday and will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday. Admission is $6 for adults and students.

Freshman Keberle Among State Girls Tennis Champions

Freshman Lexi Keberle of West Bend East stunned two-time defending champion Elizabeth Konon of Homestead to win the Division 1 State singles title with a 6-4, 0-6, 6-3 victory in the final Saturday.

The meet takes place at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wis. Action will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Friday at 9 a.m. and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and students.
