STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The official’s licensing renewal application is now available on the WIAA website for the 2019-20 school year.
Two options are available to renewing your licensure for 2019-20. The first, and preferred, option is to complete the application online and pay by credit card with either a Visa or Mastercard. The second option to renew licensure is to print the application from our website and send via the U.S. Postal Service.
To locate the licensing renewal information, log-on to the site and click on the “Officials” link on at the top of the WIAA home page (www.wiaawi.org). Click the “Online Licensing” and choose “Renew Your License.” Or, click on the “Officials” link and choose “Become an Official,” which directs the user to the page where you can print the 2019-20 licensing application.
Reciprocity and individuals using the military initiative are also available to license online. Reciprocity must include verification that they are licensed in their home state for the 2019-20 school year and military individuals must include verification of military service.
Individuals that will still be in high school for 2019-20 must have your school’s athletic director renew your license; otherwise, the student will be charged the licensing fees. If you are graduating from high school after the 2018-19 school year, you can license online and pay the applicable licensing fees.
Licensed officials must renew your license by June 7, 2019. Failure to meet the deadline for renewal will result in a $30 late fee for relicensing.
