Kylie Moe Wins First 3-Point Challenge

Kylie Moe, a junior from Brodhead, won the inaugural girls’ 3-Point Challenge held Saturday at the Resch Center in conjunction with the State Girls Basketball Tournament.

Moe was one of 10 participants in the contest. She scored 15 points in the final round to win the contest. Sammy Kozlowski of New Berlin Eisenhower was second with 13 points in the final round, and Amber Baehman of Tri-County was third with 10.

Ogunbowale leads Dashers into Final vs. Evergreens

n one of the most entertaining games in Girls State Basketball history, Divine Savior Holy Angels (25-2) outlasted Middleton 86-76 in overtime to advance to the Division 1 State final Saturday evening.

D.C. Everest (27-0) will bring its unblemished record into the State final Saturday evening following a 42-32 win over Arrowhead in the semifinals.

Pius XI, Cedarburg Advance to Div. 2 Title Tilt

Pius XI (27-0) will continue its pursuit of a perfect season in the Division 2 championship final tomorrow evening after rolling to a 55-30 win over Waunakee in the semifinal.

Cedarburg (24-2) advances to the Division 2 championship game Saturday evening as result of its 51-41 victory over River Falls in the semifinals.
 

Cuba City to Play Fall Creek in Div. 4 Final

Defending champion Cuba City will return to the title game Saturday following a 62-56 win over St. Mary’s Springs in the Division 4 semifinals. Fall Creek (25-2) withstood a fourth quarter charge by Marathon (25-2) to advance to the Division 4 final with a 56-51 victory over the Red Raiders.
