Petitgoue; Rose Selected National Coach of the Year in Respective Sports

STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Jerry Petitgoue, head boys basketball coach at Cuba City High School, and Michael Rose, head girls swimming and diving coach at Brookfield East High School were two of 23 high school coaches from across the country selected as 2020 National Coaches of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Board of Control January Meeting Release

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control suspended tournament travel reimbursements to schools and approved a limited number of fall sport coaches’ recommendations at its January meeting today.

Gralla Retires from Executive Office Position; Mortimer Promoted to Assistant Director

Board Addresses Quarantine Period & Reviews Sports Season Calendar

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control, at its special meeting today, reviewed and reaffirmed the winter sports guidance recommendation requiring a 14-day quarantine period before student-athletes return to participation following close contact with anyone tested positive for COVID-19.
